Darren Sinclair, Head of Digital Marketing Business

Darren Sinclair and Jonathan Williams, both highly respected figures in the automotive retail industry, have joined Cox Automotive UK in senior roles, to drive growth within its digital and media businesses.

Darren Sinclair joins to head up the digital marketing business within Cox Automotive UK at an exciting time, with some major new developments on the horizon. Darren will drive and execute the strategic plans that will help to streamline and grow the businesses of manufacturers, franchise and independent dealers through vehicle retailing.

Darren was most recently Chief Operating Officer for The Property Software Group, the UK’s leading provider of SaaS and desktop software for estate agents, where he grew revenues, developed new customer propositions and led operational change.

Prior to that, Darren spent more than 20 years at Auto Trader, where he held director positions across Sales, Service and Operations, ultimately becoming Digital Operations Director. With strong strategic, commercial and operational capability and with a reputation for clear and engaging leadership, Darren was instrumental in the development of a leading digital marketing business, and was a driving force in the business transition from print to digital.

Jonathan Williams

Jonathan Williams joins Cox Automotive where he will be exploring new product opportunities that will broaden and differentiate the Motors.co.uk proposition to both dealers and consumers. These initiatives will provide increased value to retailers through alternative and increased source of leads and market insight.

Jonathan brings his extensive experience in delivering successful propositions to market that help retailers win, in the ever-increasing complexity of today’s marketing landscape. Before joining Cox Automotive Jonathan previously held various senior roles within Auto Trader UK for 15 years, most recently as Group Marketing Director where he was responsible for the consumer growth of the digital platforms and successful transition from print to online.

Both Darren Sinclair and Jonathan Williams will report into Martin Forbes, managing director of Cox Automotive UK’s retail and media businesses.
