Manheim, a leading UK provider of integrated products and services for the vehicle remarketing sector, has announced the appointment of Tamara Brown to its Sales leadership team.

Tamara joined the business in August, and will initially take up the role of Corporate and Manufacturer Sales Director, to cover for Hayley Warrington who is now on maternity leave.

Tamara joins Manheim, part of Cox Automotive, from her role as Used Car and Remarketing Manager for Mazda UK, where she held multiple dealer facing roles in sales and franchising and was instrumental in developing the used car field team, delivering year on year improvements in dealer used car profitability.

She also managed the process for refurbishment, pricing and sale of all Mazda UK used cars, launching the Mazda National Used Car Locator and winning the acclaimed 2016 Motor Trader Quality Award for Used Cars.

Prior to joining Mazda in 2002, Tamara worked with Ford Credit Europe.

Tamara's key focus will be on managing and achieving volume and revenue growth targets, strengthening the contract portfolio, and working in partnership with Manheim customers and other Cox Automotive businesses to deliver the best possible experience and value.

Pete Bell, MD of Manheim, comments on her appointment: "Tamara joins an experienced and well-respected sales team, which, combined with her extensive and proven expertise in the sector will set her up for success."

"She brings with her a wealth of knowedge of the remarketing space, and her dealer-facing experience, and manufacturer knowledge will be invaluable as part of our future plans to build on the outstanding results we are already achieving. We wish Hayley all the best with her maternity leave, and are delighted to welcome Tamara to the team."
