November launch for Modix 360°


Modix brings new 360° image technology to dealers

Modix, the automotive marketing software company, is to launch Modix 360° this November, an immersive 360° imagery and video capability for dealers.

Modix 360°, built in partnership with GardX and powered by proven SpinCar technology, is launched as research shows all-angle images can increase lead submissions by over 40% and vehicle page engagement by up to 56%.*

Hailed as a revolutionary self-serve product for dealers, Modix 360° users can capture complete interior and exterior spins of vehicles to display on their website. A set of still images and a 360 video with automated voiceover is then created, which can be uploaded directly to a dealers' website or their Motors.co.uk listings.

In addition, unique clickable hotspots can be included in the imagery, which allows dealers to upsell additional key features and encourages potential buyers to access further information.

Modix 360° is the latest product from Modix, a Cox Automotive business that supplies more than 30 OEMs and over 16,500 dealers with used-vehicle locators, search marketing tools, websites and imagery that generate leads and drive conversion.

In addition to hosting the tool directly on their own websites, dealers will also be able to integrate Modix 360° imagery into their Motors.co.uk listings.

Phill Jones, managing director, Motors.co.uk, which already allows dealers to add up to 25 pictures to each of their adverts, said: "Images are a critical part of the sales process. Car shopping is now largely performed online and it is essential that images display the vehicle to the highest standard. The more information a dealer can provide, the more likely that customer is to visit the dealership.
