•    Motors.co.uk celebrates record year-on-year July performance with 26% rise in lead assists
•    Car search website sees 46% surge in YOY mobile traffic in July 2017 following website redesign last year
•    Website overall enjoys more than a 20% increase YOY in new users and sessions in July 2017 vs July 2017

Motors.co.uk is celebrating a record year-on-year (YOY) performance in July 2017 after a surge in lead assists for its customers, along with a rise in online traffic from consumers.  

The car search website is generating more response for car dealers, with a 26% YOY rise in lead assists – such as detailed vehicle page views (DPVs), telephone calls and email enquiries to dealers – in July 2017.

There was a 10% increase in the percentage of visitors using a smartphone in the past year.

There was also a 20% increase in online sessions and a 21% rise in unique users compared to July 2016.

Motors.co.uk has also seen a substantial shift in how consumers visit the website with a 46% YOY rise in mobile traffic in July 2017, following the launch of a redesigned and mobile-optimised version in November 2016.

There was also a 10% increase in the percentage of visitors using a smartphone in the last year.

The Motors.co.uk automotive network of partner websites – including Honest John and Parkers.co.uk – also performed strongly with a nine per cent increase in lead assists YOY for July 2017.
