Heritage Automotive has agreed to a new, three-year deal with global vehicle remarketing provider, Manheim.

The multi-site franchise dealer group will dispose of around 4,000 cars and vans per year through Manheim’s Bristol auction centre, operating five days per week.

The agreement is the continuation of a previous partnership between the companies that began in 2017 and previously saw up to 3,000 part-exchange vehicles offered through Manheim each year. The new agreement expands the scope by another thousand cars, taking the partnership between the two companies up until the end of 2024.

Darren Cook, Used Car Director at Heritage Automotive, commented: "When it came to renewing our remarketing partnership with Manheim, it was an obvious choice to agree to another three-year deal.

"Heritage Automotive prides itself on delivering outstanding customer service at all times and we look for the same values within our suppliers. The excellent service and professionalism we have received from Manheim throughout the past three years demonstrated that they are a great fit for our business moving forward."

Liam Quegan, managing director of Manheim Auction Services & NextGear Capital, added: "It’s great to see our partnership with Heritage Automotive continuing to bear fruit as we commit to another three years working together.

"Even despite the disruptions caused by COVID-19, we have managed to keep our auction centres operating and open for business to ensure we continue to deliver for our customers. Our online programme of Simulcast auctions for Heritage Automotive has been hugely successful, with most vehicles meeting their reserve price and conversion rates high. We remain committed to continuing this high level of service throughout the next three years."
